Mechanical Requirements and Related Information
For the most up-to-date advertising material requirements, contact TELEPHONY's advertising production manager, Kathleen Boenzli:

DIGITAL REQUIREMENTS
Photos: 300 dpi, actual size, CMYK color model .tif or .eps
Illustrations: Save as .eps with color preview. Line-art resolutions at least 800 dpi. CMYK color models. Recommend including original application file.
Layouts: Quark or Adobe PageMaker preferred. Please use application preflighting and include placed graphics and fonts. Laser printout of file is REQUIRED.
PDF Files: We can support PDF (portable document format) files if they are saved for high-end printing. For more information on creating PDF files for prepress, visit: http://createpdf.adobe.com OR www.adobe.com/products
*Please note: PDF files lack the ability to be altered at a later date.
(Example: phone number changed, address, etc.)
Art: Send all supporting illustration and photo files.
Fonts: Send screen and printer fonts for use in producing the ad. On illustrations, it is recommended to convert text to outlines before saving as .eps.
Media: Mac CD, Zip 100, floppy or electronic transmissions by e-mail or FTP.
FTP: Upload your ad to our FTP server at:
ftp://adclient:adclient@ftpserver2.primediabusiness.com/vendors/Prepressop/
Please be sure to e-mail kboenzli@primediabusiness.com your company and ad file name to ensure that we received the correct ad and information.
Proofing: For digital ad files, we minimally require a text and element proof to assist in preflighting the ad. For critical color match, we require a digital halftone proof (Kodak Approval, Dupont Digital Water Proof, Fuji FirstProof, etc.) or other inkjet or laser proof derived from a SWOP-certified proofing system.
